The First Substation of CAS Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica Settled in Shandong International Biotechnology Park

At 11a.m. of August 26, 2012, the signing ceremony of CAS Shanghai Institute of MateriaMedica, Yantai Branch agreement was held in Yantai Dongshan Hotel. It marked the first substation of CAS Shanghai Institute of MateriaMedica, a state-famous comprehensive materiamedica research institute, was officially settled in Shandong International Biotechnology Park.

Exports and related leaders such as Zhang Yaping, academician and vice-president of CAS, Ding Jian, academician of CAE and director of CAS Shanghai Institute of MateriaMedica, Ni Fudi, vive-president of CAS Shanghai Institute of Bioscience, ZhaiLuning, director of Shandong ZPSTD and other Yantai Municipal Leaders attended the ceremony. At the last of the ceremony, Ding Jian, academician of CAE and director of CAS Shanghai Institute of MateriaMedica, Yu Aijun, executive vice mayor, Liu Hongbo, Secretary of High-tech Zone Labour Committee, Liu Dianbo, Chairman of Shandong International Biotechnology Park, on behalf of the founder union, signed the agreement.

The signing of this agreement will provide important technical support to the built of Shandong International Biotechnology Park’s innovative service system, make significant driving effect in attracting investment work and it marks great progress the Park got with the model of “build it the they will come” and “let them come to build it”. It is a milestone of the development of Shandong international Biotechnology Park.
