BIOasis and China Pharmaceutical University to Build China Pharmaceutical University PK Laboratory (Yantai)

At 11 o’clock June 17 2013, the signing ceremony of the agreement between Shandong International Biotechnology Park and China Pharmaceutical University to build China Pharmaceutical University PK Laboratory (Yantai) was held in Yantai Hi-tech Zone. More than 20 people such as Xu hui, Party Secretary of China Pharmaceutical University; Lai Maode, President of China Pharmaceutical University; Wang Guangji, Vice-President of China Pharmaceutical University; CaiGuohua, Yantai Municipal Committee Member and Vice Mayor of Yantai Government; Liu Hongbo, Vice Chairman of Yantai Municipal CPPCC and Secretary of Working Committee of Yantai Hi-Tech Zone; JiShanting, Vice Secretary of Working Committee of Yantai Hi-Tech Zone; Liu Dianbo, Chairman of the Board of LuyePharma Group Ltd., and Fu Fenghua, Dean of College of Pharmacy, Yantai University and General Manager of Shandong International Biotechnology Park Development Co., Ltd.,. Shandong International Biotechnology Park Development Co., Ltd., attended the ceremony. WANG Guangji and Fu Fenghua, respectively, as representatives of both sides signed the cooperation agreement.

The Lab established by Shandong International Biotechnology Park and China Pharmaceutical University will integrate China Pharmaceutical University’s technical capacity and BIOasis’s advantage in equipment and services. It will adhere to the China Pharmaceutical University's fine tradition and rigorous attitude and take pre-clinical pharmacokinetic studies and clinical pharmacokinetic studies as the main direction of development. In the future, the Lab will be developed into the backbone for drug discovery and translational research innovation at home and abroad and become an innovative research platform with first-class management, talents, achievements and benefit for the local pharmaceutical industry. China Pharmaceutical University PK Lab (Yantai) will make a great contribution to the development of the local pharmaceutical industry.
